FYSM: The Barbell Hip Thrust

The barbell hip thrust has a reputation for building up glutes aesthetically (that is if firm, perky, round glutes are your thing).
But it doesn’t get the respect it deserves in the lifting world as a low risk high reward (i.e. hard to fuck up) hip hinge that isolates explosive hip extension. It forces you to move with power and assertiveness. And for many beginners, it helps them feel comfortable with a decent amount of weight more quickly than any other movement can.
Class size is capped at 8 because it’s wayyyyy simpler than most barbell movements (in a good way). It will be a fun one.
